Suzanne Blom

Suzanne has worked with the cast and crew of the Middleboro Youth Ballet's Nutcracker since its first performance in 2000. She has choreographed the Act I party scene and Act II's lively Russian Dance. Suzanne is a member of the Cranberry Players and the Middleborough Special Events theatrical companies. Her choreography credits include productions of “My Fair Lady,” “Brigadoon,” “42nd Street” and “Fiddler on the Roof.” She has danced in the productions as well as choreographing each one, and has worked behind the scenes when needed. A dancer from childhood, Suzanne says much of her inspiration comes from watching the multi-talented Carol Burnett. Her love of musicals comes through in the small details of the productions on which she works. She especially enjoys teaching non-dancers and seeing them gain confidence on stage as they become poised performers.
